REACHING FOR THE STARS

Bringing Jewish teens together with proud Jews who have “Reached for the Stars” and believe that each one of us can be extraordinary.

“Reaching for the Stars” is dedicated to the spirit of the first Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon who exemplified the ability that people can accomplish extraordinary things. This is an incredible opportunity to rediscover the importance of courageous action and meet with people that will inspire you.

Be a part of this program that will consist of fascinating speakers from across the country and an exciting trip to New York City.

Tentative Speakers:

  • Jewish firefighter who saved lives during 9/11
  • Doctor who volunteered his time in Darfur trying to better the situation for those directly effected by the conflict
  • Successful Philanthropist now committed to making the world a better place
  • Rona Ramon, wife of the first Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon

NYC Trip Highlights:

  • Meeting with Celebrities and Dignitaries
  • Introduction to the Israeli Ambassador to the U.N.
  • Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
  • Ground Zero Site and Memorial
  • Times Square
