ISRAEL STUDENT AMBASSADOR FELLOWS
You have the passion… Now take Action!
Through this program you will gain a better understanding of the political situation facing Israel and discover how you can make a difference. Hearing from experts in a variety of fields, you will have an unprecedented opportunity to learn together with top students from across the Chicagoland area. Later, you will have the chance to go to Washington D.C. to see how to lobby a politician and put all of your knowledge into action.
If you are a vibrant, self motivated high school student who loves Israel and wants to make a difference, then this program is for you!
1st Semester
Explore Four Critical Themes:
- Israel Awareness: Current Events
- Israel in the International Media
- Advocacy & Activism
- Israel Society and Culture
Workshops Include:
- Briefings with High Level Professionals
- Training Seminars with Experts in their Field
- Working with Mentors on Independent Projects in the Community
- Inspiring your Friends and Bringing Israel into their Lives
2nd semester
Travel to Washington DC to learn more about the political process concerning Israel
Activities include:
- Meetings with Members of Congress
- Training with AIPAC’s Leadership Development Staff and College Student Activists
- Visit the Israeli Embassy
- Evening tour of Washington D.C.
- Stay in the George Washington University Campus Area
Making a Difference:
Put all of your knowledge and leadership capabilities to action by creating an Israel program for your high school. With the help of fellow students and committed staff you will be responsible for the coordination and execution of this program.
